#Poetry: High Above

#Poetry: High Above
(Poem by ViennaCC)

Through winter chill or searing summer heat
Above grey clouds you'll soar in flight at last
No ceiling here; the pure high air is sweet
Better to flee your home than be outcast

All that you want and need is named a sin
But you will never know until you try
Nobody sees the shining heart within
So flutter up, butterfly

Mystical oracle by the Sphinx
Take a flaming chance and roll the dice
A dwindling world below your spreaded wings
You soar above red sand and blue-white ice
