Working with depth of field in photoshop

Here a quick example for working with depth of field, an integrated effect in photoshop. I just wanted to have one (of two) sign and the two women sharp, the rest unsharp. Then I added a little cyan to make the scenery more cold and enhanced the colours.

The shot was taken from a window on 20130117 in Vienna with a simple camera (shoot and forget camera) in format jpeg, not in raw.

Polaroized!

I took a dropout photo from photosession last weekend. What to do with it?
The picture is underexposed. No problem if you are creative.

With Photoshop work I made a Polaroid styled picture - and I think it doesn't look bad. The colours I added on the right side give the picture a kick.
