#Poetry: Late In The Avenue

#Poetry: Late In The Avenue
(Poem by ViennaCC)

Sometimes I feel, like a parentless child
And there she walks and looked and smiled
I want to kiss her just for the taste
Cheeky, lofty, brazen-faced
A reflection in a glass window
Neon slogan blinking slow
Then how come I am telling you
It was a moment in the Avenue
So short, a look so vaguely
What's left is nothing more than memory
