Full Bucket Music has released Stigma, a VST 2.4 software instrument for Microsoft Windows (both 32 and 64-bit) designed to emulate the KORG Sigma KP-30 synthesizer from 1979. It is written in native C++ code for high performance and low CPU consumption.
Any photographer who’s ever taken on the challenge of creating a timelapse video is all too familiar with the flickering, staggered staccato effect. Caused by shutter speeds that are too quick to properly capture the motion in between frames, the illusion of jumping or skipping can take the realism out of even the most extraordinary scenes.
Of course, the easiest way of avoiding this issue would be to slow down the shutter speed. This could be done by applying a neutral density filter to a lens or by closing down the camera’s aperture. However, there will always be situations where these precautions either aren’t possible or aren’t enough to cut down on staccato.
If you’re new to Photoshop, you’ve probably been a little overwhelmed by the million and one things you can do to your images and the multiple ways to get any one effect. You’ve probably also discovered that not everything you do—even if it’s something “everyone” is doing—will make your images come out looking great.
Club Sound 002 recorded and a short video produced. When finished the recording I closed my eyes and the first thought was an astronaut in space. When they return from their mission they only keep their memories - like photos in brain. That was the
NUSofting has released Bit Fluzer Free 0.9.0, currently as Windows VST 64-bit/32-bit, Mac versions will be released later.
Bit Fluzer is an audio effect similar to standard "bit crushers", but featuring two channels with input filters and audio bit reductions modulated by two LFOs.
Using the Bit Fluzer plugin you can alter the bit depth of the audio signal from your instrument or audio tracks in your DAW in various ways. The two bit depth controls range from one to 20 bits in continuous fashion, moreover the bit depth can be made to rhythmically oscillate with the LFOs. That way you can obtain a range of mono or stereo modulating effects: from subtle "sound warming", due to the soft noise introduced by a little bit depth reduction, to more aggressive distortions and groovy patterns.

Audacity, the free, open source, cross-platform audio software for multi-track recording and editing, has been updated to v2.1.3.
Audacity has only partial support for Mac Sierra. The team found that on a subset of Mac Sierra machines some important extensions to the core of Audacity become unavailable. Full details here: Partial support for Sierra. This problem also affects Audacity 2.1.2. Audacity 2.1.3 takes steps to reduce the problems, but does not fix them entirely. Audacity 2.1.3 is also the last version of Audacity that will officially support Windows XP.
You may have heard that you should never put something out of focus in the foreground of your images. Some say that a viewer’s eyes will keep coming back to it, and it could become a major distraction in your composition. But Mark Wallace seems to have a completely different take on this. He deliberately uses out of focus foreground elements to add depth to his images.

When presented with an ethereal sunset or sunrise we tend to get lost in the myriad of camera settings and options. By the time we figure out what settings to use, the opportunity to capture the moment may have already passed. But if you’re clever enough to capture several exposures using the Auto Exposure Bracketing feature, blending them is another challenge. Jimmy McIntyre shares this amazing workflow that transforms your bracketed images into something that’s nothing short of pure bliss.

But it can also throw up challenges. Time constraints, logistics, and lack of portable storage can make getting the perfect shot far more difficult. Here are a few tried-and-tested tips to help you make those challenges a little more surmountable.
It’s well known that we humans can only take in a limited amount of information at a time, but when we take photos we often find ourselves trying to cram in as much as possible. This leaves us with photos with no single point of focus, that lack impact.
Have you ever tried to take a photo at night, outside, and it came out terribly? Perhaps you were on vacation and saw a postcard of cars whizzing by the Eiffel Tower, streams of light from the headlights in the foreground and the beautiful monument in the background. But when you tried to replicate the image, it was a far cry from what you envisioned.
