#photography - How to express motion in a static photo

How to express movement in a static photo?
I did it with a effect called radial blur. The inside of the bus is sharp, the street outside is blurred.

By the way, when I took the picture the bus was moving very slow.

For more contrast I increased the color saturation for the inside bus and decreased it for the outside (street).

The lens flare on bottom right is photoshoped.

#AfterEffects: #knowhow Before you render...

Before you render
  • Restart the pc
I found out that AE sometimes stops rendering. Maybe there is too much left in cache or memory. After restart of my pc AE worked fine.
  • Look at Render Settings:
  • Use OpenGL Renderer (if your graphics card supports OpenGL) for significantly faster rendering
  • Preview settings
For preview you do not neet full resolution. You want a fast rendered file.
      Settings to set:
    • Quality Draft
    • Resolution Half (or Third)

That's the way it is. It would be different if it wasn't that way.
