San Francisco Cable Cars

Very famous public transport since August 2, 1873 (first cable car test).
I wanted to go California Street up to James C. Flood Mansion and Grace Cathedral. Puh, long way up. Suddenly I heard the Cablecar. I jumped on at Grant Avenue. I was standing near the gripman. It's a hard job.

I later visited the interesting Cable Car Museum at 1201 Mason Street with huge engines and winding wheels that pull the cables. yes, it is not only a museum, it is the powerhouse too.
