Music Video WORDS OF LOVE Published On YouTube

Uploaded the music video with the song "Words Of Love" from the latest album "Going Out For Summer".

Music

The music is a rumba. The rhythm section has a filter effect on to make it sound more
modern and not like a recording from the 60s.
This song is very melodious and good for dancing after midnight. It reminds
me on the time when I played dance hall music with a band. Playing from 8pm to 4am is a
hard job, but you learn a lot.

Frames

In the video I am fooling around with a frame in my hands where I cuts out pieces as freeze images from the video.
I like tricky computer effects. A music video simply showing the band hammering their song is boring. It's a standard concept.

Mary Joy
Touchscreen

Playing with a frame is not enough. It looks like the video is played on a touchscreen.
Menus appear on the screen and a hand chooses from some options. This influences the background or colours. Once a hand touches the musician and the virtual camera filming all this starts to swing.
I had the idea when I was discussing with a friend about the future of TV. Maybe one day there will be more interactivity possible. Today's technology cannot provide such services. My music video shows a possible developments in the future. This is not a real interactive video - but it looks like.

Dog gives opinion

There is also a dog in the music video sitting near the musician and getting cut by the
frame. At the end a menu option "Opinion" is chosen and the dog shows it's opinion about
the song.
That is the fun element in the music video. Don't take the work too serious.

Mary Joy
Intercontinental cooperation

Remarkable is the lady appearing in the frame, a young lady named Mary Joy from Manila /
Philippines. ViennaCC became acquainted via twitter and he asked her to act in his music
video.
I call it transcontinental cooperation between Europe and Asia. I never met Mary Joy. I explained what I need and she took the shots with her camera. Then she sent videos and photos to me. Phantastic, isn't it! I consider to make a movie with people from all five continents without ever meeting them.
