Walking in Wachau along Danube

relaxing near Aggstein / Wachau
It's warm, it's sunny. Off to valley Wachau!

Wachau, located between Melk and Krems, is a very beautiful place at the Danube. Mountains left and right and so much wine. Austria's "Veltliner" is planted here. The Ancient Romans found out that this is a very good land for wine and startet planting grapes. Left and right the Danube there is a biker's trail Melk-Krems, 33km, most partly shady. Up on the rocks there are ruins like Aggstein and castles like Schoenbuehel. Don't forget to visit Heuriger and drink Wachau wine - white Veltliner.

I did not take a boat tour on river Danube. I went down from Melk to Aggstein and made a few film shots and also took pictures.

No stress, please
